Wolfsburg have joined Tottenham in the race for AZ Alkmaar star Vincent Janssen.
The striker was on fire in the Dutch league last season and finished the campaign with an impressive haul of 31 goals in all competitions.
Unsurprisingly Europe’s top clubs are now circling the 22-year-old and he looks set to leave this summer.
Tottenham have already made an approach, while Ajax are hopeful they can persuade Janssen to stay in the country.
But now both clubs will have to contend with the presence of Wolfsburg after their sporting director, Klaus Allofs, confirmed they have held talks with the forward.
“We’ve got a few options. We’ve talked to Janssen. We are not the only club in the market for him,” Allofs told Kicker.
