Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed he wants to sign a striker this summer – with Marseille star Michy Batshuayi on his shortlist.
Spurs desperately tried to add to their forward line last year, but fell short with several bids for West Brom striker Saido Berahino.
Pochettino has now confessed Tottenham are still on the hunt for attacking reinforcements, while also revealing that Batshuayi is on the club’s radar after scoring 15 league goals this season.
“We are looking for a striker this summer,” Pochettino told RMC.
“Batshuayi is a young player who has a lot of talent. He is logically followed by many clubs. We have information about him, he has good potential.
“Then we will see, we also have other players in our sights.”
