Espanyol are determined to keep hold of Tottenham target Pau Lopez.
Spurs have been scouting the goalkeeper for some time and they have already had a bid of £1.7million rejected.
Lopez, who is capped by Spain at under-21 level, has been tipped for a bright future and he is on the radar of several clubs.
However, according to Marca, Espanyol are desperate to keep hold of Lopez and they will fight to keep him this summer.
The club are in no need to sell and they are confident that the 21-year-old would rather continue his immediate development with them.
Tottenham, though, are expected to test Espanyol’s resolve by returning with a new bid of around £4m in the coming days.
