Tottenham star Mousa Dembele facing six-game ban after alleged eye gouging

Fabregas too was spared any individual punishment for his actions in the melee at the end of the game, when eye witnesses claimed he slapped the groins of several Spurs players and officials.

The FA have regarded the failing to control charges against both clubs as covering all those separate incidents, after two days of studying officials’ reports and video evidence.

Tottenham have already automatically been fined £25,000 for having nine players booked in the match, which saw Eden Hazard’s late equalising goal for Chelsea kill off their hopes and hand the title to Leicester.

Three Chelsea players were cautioned by referee Mark Clattenburg.

Dembele has until 6pm tonight to respond to his charge, while the clubs have until 6pm Monday to answer theirs.
