AC Milan have set their sights on a move for Tottenham ace Erik Lamela, according to sources in Italy.
Spurs splashed out a then-club-record fee of around £30m to land the Argentinean from Roma in 2013 but he initially struggled for form in north London.
However, he has flourished under current boss and compatriot Mauricio Pochettino and began to fulfill some of his vast potential at White Hart Lane.
But his form has attracted the interest of AC Milan, who are new lining up a bid for the 24-year-old.
According to Calciomercato, the San Siro giants reckon an offer worth around £22.5m would be enough to tempt Spurs into selling.
Lamela is under contract until 2020 and, with eight Premier League appearances already this season, is considered an important first-team player by Pochettino.
So it is unlikely that Tottenham would consider selling him for a bid that low, and would hope to make a profit on the winger.
