Top 10 biggest attendances in European Cup (Champions League) history – unbelievably huge crowds

Tottenham are set to break their club record attendance when they play Monaco in the Champions League this week.

With White Hart Lane’s capacity reduced to around 32,000 due to building work next door on the club’s new stadium, Spurs opted to play their European matches at Wembley.

England’s national stadium has a capacity of 90,000, which means Tottenham should comfortably beat their previous record attendance of 75,038, set way back in 1938.

But will they come close to the biggest ever European Cup attendances?
