Tinie Tempah has revealed he’s nervous about playing the FA Cup final.
But it’s music not football he’ll be performing on Saturday.
The rapper announced during Claro Amfo’s show on BBC Radio 1 that he’ll be singing during the match coverage.
“I am really nervous at the moment,” he explained.
“The only time it’s been this crazy is when I performed at the Olympics when everything is time coded.”
Tempah said he’s feeling the pressure because of the worldwide scale of Crystal Palace taking on Manchester United for the famous trophy.
“There’s going to be like 400 million people tuned in around the world.
‘When you’re doing a show that is live and has that many people watching it’s all done to a time code and I don’t want to give anything away but I have two minutes and 50 seconds.
“It’s so specific to perform and I can’t screw up.”
He was asked whether any of the footballers could maybe hel with his nerves.
“No one is going to be able to help me with this so I have to do it on my own.”
But he did manage to forget about it briefly while he and Clara did a Snapchat face swap in studio…
Coverage of the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace will be live on BBC One from 16:15 on Saturday, 21 May
