Hull could be facing a battle to keep hold of Abel Hernandez this summer as reports claim Watford and AS Roma are keen on the striker.
Hernandez fired home 22 goals last season as the Tigers won promotion back to the Premier League via the play-offs, and his form has not gone unnoticed elsewhere.
Boss Steve Bruce will have no intention of cashing in on his star striker during the transfer window, but his resolve could be tested if Watford and Roma make substantial bids.
Watford’s new Italian manager Walter Mazzarri knows all about Hernandez following the player’s time in Serie A with Palermo, while Roma are also keen to take him back to Italy.
Bruce is looking to add at least one more quality striker to his ranks this summer to take some of the pressure off Hernandez, and losing the Uruguayan star will not be in his thinking.
