The most consecutive wins in English football in all competitions – Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal, maybe Man City?

Manchester City have started the Pep Guardiola era in sensational style.

Since the Spaniard took over, City have won all 10 of the competitive matches they have played so far this season.

That includes six Premier League wins, two Champions League qualifiers and an EFL Cup match.

Next up for City it’s Celtic in the Champions League, followed by Tottenham in the Premier League.

Two more wins would see them overtake Tottenham’s 11 wins on the bounce from the start of the 1960/61 season.

But how does this City run compare with the best ever string of victories recorded by English top flight clubs?

We’ve got the answer, in the gallery above.
