Swansea defender Neil Taylor says former boss Brendan Rodgers would be welcomed with open arms should he return to the club.
Reports are growing that Rodgers will return as Swansea manager in the summer following his sacking from Liverpool, but the fans are reported to be divided on the news.
However as far as Taylor is concerned the return of Rodgers could only be a good thing for the club, who are expected to part company with Francesco Guidolin in the summer.
Swansea remain focused on ensuring Premier League survival over the remaining games, but Taylor is excited over the prospect of Rodgers returning to the Liberty Stadium.
“He did great things for this football club, so there is no reason why we wouldn’t want him back,” said Taylor. “We know he is a fantastic manager but we have to do a job.
“We can think about that at the end of the season.”
