Swansea vs Notts County: Big rivals Cardiff step in to help League Two club

“We’ll be using some excellent training facilities”

Notts County coach Mark Crossley

“We’ll be able to do that at a hotel. If it gives you that extra one per cent chance of getting a result then so be it.”

The Magpies stayed at the plush Vale of Glamorgan hotel last night and will return tonight ahead of a warm-down session tomorrow.

And Crossley says the trip is typical of the Premier League approach from former midfielder Nolan.

“You only have to look around and see how the club has been transformed in the last year since he’s been in charge,” said former keeper Crossley.

“It’s all happened so quickly. Where there were run-down squash courts never getting used, we now have a state-of-the-art gym and an indoor facility – we’ll never miss a days’ training.
