Crystal Palace and Swansea target Simone Zaza has set his sights on fighting for his place with Juventus next season.
The Italian international striker was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in January, with some reports claiming that Palace had a bid rejected by the Italian champions.
Swansea, West Ham and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the player and there is sure to be further interest over the coming weeks as quality strikers are in short supply.
Zaza is behind Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata in the pecking order with the Turin giants but he seems happy to turn his back on the Premier League in favour of fighting for his place.
“Do I want another year like last season? I hope to play more,” he said. “It was my first season in a great team. We’ll see when the Euros end, but I hope and want to stay in Turin.”
There is a chance Morata could be leaving, which would boost his chances of playing more football, but opportunities to start every week still look slim.
