Swansea have made a move for Sevilla’s Fernando Llorente and could be set to swoop for Nacer Chadli of Spurs.
The Swans have been left light on numbers in attack after sanctioning Bafetimbi Gomis’ season-long loan switch to Marseille on Friday.
Swansea are expected to bring in at least one new forward before the season starts next month and they will be eyeing further additions before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
It has now been reported that Swansea have launched a £6million move for Llorente, 31, who is expected to leave Sevilla this summer.
The Spain international joined the Spanish side as a free agent last summer after his deal at Juventus came to an end but he struggled to impress at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, with just four La Liga goals in 23 outings.
Swansea are also thought to be tracking Spurs winger Chadli as they bid to bolster their front line before the new campaign gets underway.
Chadli found himself behind Erik Lamela and Dele Alli in the White Hart Lane pecking order last season and it is thought Spurs are open to offers for the Belgium international.
