The Welsh outfit were thought to be one of the clubs in the running to sign the Italian last summer when he was put up for sale by Sampdoria, only for the 25-year-old to make the shock decision to join Belgian side Anderlecht.

Okaka has scored 12 goals in 33 appearances since moving to the Pro League outfit but the Belgian press are now suggesting the striker could be on the move again come the end of the season.

The report suggests Swansea, along with Crystal Palace, have sent scouts to check on Okaka and that head coach Francesco Guidolin could look to bring him to the Liberty Stadium during the summer having watched his development at Roma, Parma and Sampdoria while in Italy.
