Francesco Guidolin has confirmed Swansea are in the hunt to sign a new centre-back, but he is focused on the Leicester game for now.
The Swans are in the hunt for a new defender to replace Ashley Williams, who joined Premier League rivals Everton, and it looks like they are close to doing a deal.
Guidolin refused to say too much on any potential signings, and is leaving that to the powers that be at the Liberty Stadium.
“At the moment my focus is on Leicester,” he told the press conference ahead of the Foxes clash. “I am not thinking about the end of the transfer window, but I think our chairman is working on this.
“We need another centre-back. I am happy with the three centre-backs I have, but the season is long so we need another one. After the Leicester game, we have time to take some decisions before the deadline.”
Meanwhile, Swansea are reported to be lining up a swoop for West Bromwich Albion defender Sebastien Pocognoli before the deadline passes and a £1million deal could be on the cards.
