Swansea have been linked with a move for Sassuolo star Gregoire Defrel but they are not alone in their pursuit of the striker.
Swansea are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements this summer amid speculation surrounding the futures of Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis.
Former striker Wilfried Bony has been mooted as a potential target, but Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport say the Swans are tracking Defrel, who managed seven goals and six assists for the Serie A side last term.
The 24-year-old penned a long-term deal with Sassuolo when he joined from Cesena last summer and the Neroverdi are keen to keep hold of the forward, but it is understood a bid in the region of £10million may be enough to convince them to sell.
It has been claimed Defrel would welcome a move to the Premier League but Swansea could face competition as Crystal Palace have also been linked with the forward.
