Francesco Guidolin says he is not sure whether Andre Ayew will stay with Swansea as rumours of a move to Chelsea continue to grow.
The Ghana international was a revelation during his first season with the Swans, and his form appears to have caught the eye of new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
Conte is said to want cover for new signing Michy Batshuayi and Diego Costa, but is unwilling to break the bank, and, at roughly £12million, Ayew fits the bill perfectly.
Swans boss Guidolin is confident Ayew will stay, but cannot say for certain, and a big offer from Chelsea is sure to test their resolve.
“Andre is a good guy and a good player, I hope he stays with us but I don’t know,” Guidolin admitted. “It is important to keep him, but it is not my job.
“My job is to train and to get the team to play well and to get good results. I am confident he will stay.”
Reports also claim that Manchester City and Italian side Napoli have also joined the race for his signature.
