Sunderland have been told they will have to fork out at least £3m if they want to sign Tottenham defender DeAndre Yedlin.
The USA international shone for the Black Cats on loan with the club from Spurs and there had been talk of making the deal permanent ever since he left at the end of last season.
It’s thought the Black Cats boss Sam Allardyce would prefer another loan move rather than a permanent switch but Spurs are more likely to prefer a permanent move for a player who does not appear to feature in their plans.
At White Hart Lane the right-back is third choice behind both Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker.
