Sunderland forward Adnan Januzaj is eager to help the club climb away from the relegation zone before his loan stay ends.
Januzaj joined the Black Cats on a season-long loan deal from Manchester United last summer and initially struggled to make an impact at the Stadium of Light.
The 22-year-old has been more involved of late and has taken over set-piece duties recently.
Sunderland face six Premier League games in April and Januzaj knows it is vital they pick up as many wins as possible as they battle against the drop.
“Six games is a lot in a short space of time. We have to try to win as many games as we can, we can’t make excuses, we have to deliver,” he said, as reported by the Sunderland Echo.
“I have always been working on my set-pieces. In training sometimes when I have the chance to do it I take it.
“It is always a plus to score a goal or get an assist.”
