Sunderland close to new signing: Player will sign a two year deal – reports

A deal to sign the 25-year-old didn’t go through before the deadline last week due to a problem with FIFA’s transfer system, the clubs involved claim.

But O Jogo report it has now been given the go ahead and Mika will become a Black Cats player.

He will join on a two-year deal at the Stadium of Light.

Manager David Moyes has been on the lookout for a keeper since No.1 Vito Mannone was ruled out for three months with a broken elbow.
