Sunderland are tracking FC Copenhagen striker Federico Santander, according to reports in Paraguay.
The 25-year-old scored 14 goals and laid on four assists last season during his debut campaign with the Danish club, and has managed 24 goals in 54 total appearances for the Lions.
And that, according to Paraguayan news outlet ABC, has attracted the interest of Sunderland ahead of the January transfer window.
The Black Cats are light on attacking options and Santander is now being scouted as a possible solution.
Copenhagen, however, are in no need to sell and would reportedly demand a fee in excess of £30m for the Paraguay international.
