Arsenal continue to be linked with a move for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, despite the striker insisting he is happy at Anfield.
Sturridge has been dogged by injury problems, while there has also been suggestions that his relationship with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is strained to say the least.
However the striker is back to full fitness, and Klopp was singing his praises after he scored in the 3-0 win over Villarreal in midweek that helped Liverpool to the Europa League final.
Even so Arsenal are still said to be keen as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger looks to sign a new striker in the summer, and reports suggest he is willing to pay £30million for his services.
Doubts remain over the future of Olivier Giroud following his dry spell since the turn of the year, and Wenger sees Sturridge as the perfect replacement and ideal partner for Danny Welbeck.
