Kyle Lafferty hopes to put himself in the shop window during Euro 2016 and earn a move away from Norwich this summer.
Lafferty was frozen out of the first-team picture at Carrow Road last season despite Norwich’s struggles, which eventually led to relegation to the Championship.
The Northern Ireland international would be a big asset as the Canaries look to win promotion straight back to the top flight, but it seems as though he has set his heart on a move away.
I have done some extra training and I feel a lot fitter than I was in the second half of the qualifying campaign, said Lafferty. I know if Im not on my game it is going to affect the whole team, but Im ready to go. If Im in the starting XI, I know with our team-mates I will get chances. I feel confident going into every game now.
Im going to play against some of the best defenders in the world in the first tournament Northern Ireland has featured in the last 30 years, and Im in the shop window. So I will be up for every game and Im raring to go.
