Tottenham’s hopes of landing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette look to be over after he indicated he would prefer a move to Arsenal.

The striker, who has won ten caps with France although he is not at Euro 2016, has scored 50 top-flight goals in the last two seasons which has led to him being linked with a move to Spurs and West Ham.

His agent claims the Lyon star would be keen on sealing a transfer to Arsenal, who were one of the clubs linked with him last summer alongside Liverpool, and has told both Spurs and West Ham that he is not interested.

So far this summer Mauricio Pochettino has failed in all his attempts to sign a new striker after AZ Alkmaar turned down their third offer for Vincent Janssen on Friday.
