Ricky van Wolfswinkel has given his slim chances of earning a permanent move to Real Betis a boost after finally breaking his drought.
The Dutch striker joined the La Liga side on a season-long loan deal last summer, but has made just five appearances for them as they have battled to beat the drop.
However, he came off the bench to score the winning goal in the 1-0 win over Las Palmas in midweek, a result that moved Betis 11 points clear of the relegation zone.
Betis have yet to make a decision on the striker’s future although there is a very good chance they will not look to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old is under contract with the Canaries until 2017 and faces another summer of trying to get himself fixed up with a move away from Carrow Road.
