Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku is being linked with a move to Arsenal who are reportedly set to make a £31m offer to sign him.
The future of the Belgium international is unclear, as new Everton boss Ronald Koeman would like to keep him but there have been plenty of rumours linking him with a move away from the club this summer.
The Gunners made a move to sign Jamie Vardy from champions Leicester but that looks like it will fail, so now they are set to go for Lukaku instead although £31m will not be enough as Everton paid a club-record £28m to sign him in the first place.
His agent, Mino Raiola, has hinted Lukaku may now stay at Everton because of the new investment following the arrival of major shareholder Farhad Moshiri and also Koeman.
Raiola, speaking to Sportwereld, said: “Everton don’t need the money any more but Romelu wants to play for a club that can win trophies.
“[However] something’s changed at Everton. There’s a new project. If he leaves, it has to be a good deal for all parties.”
