Swansea striker Alberto Paloschi will complete his move to Atalanta by the end of the week, reports in Italy have claimed.
Paloschi only joined the Swans in January when arriving from Chievo in a deal worth €9.5million, but after scoring just four goals in 20 appearances, he is heading back to Serie A.
Swans boss Francesco Guidolin is happy to let his fellow countryman move on and reports claim the club have accepted €6million plus a further €1.5million in performance-related bonuses.
Atalanta have just appointed coach Gian Piero Gasperini and now that is done and dusted, the Italian side hope to push through a deal for Paloschi in the next few days.
Guidolin will use the money raised from the sale of the 26-year-old to strengthen his own squad and at least one new striker is on his radar over the next few months.
