Victor Anichebe has confirmed his departure from West Bromwich Albion via social media after three seasons at the club.
The Nigerian forward, 28, is out of contract this summer and the Baggies have decided not to renew his deal.
Anichebe tweeted: “Thank you to all the @WBAFCofficial fans for the support during my time at the club! I wish you all the best for the future. God bless.”
Albion paid £6million to sign the striker from Everton in September 2013, but his career has been plagued by injury and he only started 31 matches for the club.
He scored nine goals in 63 appearances in for West Brom in total.
His last appearance in Albion colours came as a substitute in the 1-0 home defeat to Watford last month.
