Chelsea are understood to have approached Everton about securing a deal for former striker Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku has been with the Toffees since arriving from Chelsea in 2013, initially on loan, before Everton paid a club-record £27million to sign him permanently a year later.
The 23-year-old has continued to improve since departing west London, having scored 61 times in 127 games for the Goodison Park outfit.
However, despite his 25 goals in all competitions last season the Merseyside club struggled to perform, leading to speculation he may depart.
A report claims Chelsea have already made an approach.
Antonio Conte is set to take charge of the club when he sees out his commitments with Italy at Euro 2016, but the Blues may need to act quickly with Manchester United also understood to be keen on Lukaku.
