Norwich are being linked with a move for non-league strike ace Ashley Nadesan as the Canaries look to unearth the next Jamie Vardy.
The rise of players such as Leicester striker Vardy and QPR’s Charlie Austin from the non-league has prompted clubs to pay more attention to it, and Nadesan is catching the eye.
The 21-year-old plays his football with Horley Town in the Combined Counties League Premier Division and his goalscoring exploits have resulted in scouts flocking to watch him.
Nadesan has fired home 44 goals this season, to add to the 42 he scored in the last campaign, so it is no wonder Canaries boss Alex Neil has ordered his scouts to check him out.
It is only a matter of time before Nadesan steps up to the Football League and Norwich may have to move quickly or run the risk of missing out on the talented youngster.
