Arsenal are reported to have held talks with Everton and Lyon over potential deals for Romelu Lukaku and Alexandre Lacazette.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has put a new striker at the top of his wanted list and would love to get either player on board after missing out on Leicester striker Jamie Vardy.
Lukaku still appears to be angling for a move away from Everton despite the arrival of new boss Ronald Koeman and Wenger is believed to have sounded the Toffees out regards a deal.
The Belgium international wants Champions League football and is also on the radar of Bayern Munich, but staying in the Premier League would be his preferred option.
Meanwhile, Wenger hinted last week that Lyon striker Lacazette is a player he likes, and he would jump at the chance to sign him if a deal could be agreed.
Wenger can only sign one of them, with some reports claiming that Lukaku is his preferred option as he is proven in the Premier League following spells with Everton, Chelsea and West Brom.
