Stoke are said to be interested in a cut-price £1.5million deal for Gabriel Torje but may need to move quick with Galatasaray lurking.
The 26-year-old is currently on the books of Udinese but has hardly played for the Italians during his five years with the club, spending time on loan at Granada, Espanyol, Konyaspor and most recently Osmanlispor.
The winger played 26 times for the Turks last season, scoring three goals and registering six assists, reportedly catching Stoke’s eye with his ability to play on either flank or behind the main striker.
Udinese are thought to be ready to let Torje leave permanently this summer and are looking for a fee in the region of £1.5million, a price which has attracted several suitors.
Reports in Turkey suggest Galatasaray are interested in Torje and have already spoken to the Italians about a deal, meaning the Potters may have to move quickly if they want the Romania international.
