Stoke skipper Ryan Shawcross is confident his side can take all three points when they travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Palace are not quite mathematically safe from the drop just yet, but Shawcross feels they may be distracted by their upcoming FA Cup final clash with Manchester United and he is confident the Potters can take advantage of a lack of focus.
“They’ve got the FA Cup Final coming up so that will give them extra motivation to try and get into the team,” he told Premier League Productions.
“Everybody will say it isn’t but I’m sure the Cup will be in the back of their mind, of course it will, but they’re professional and they will want to win their last two league games to go into the final with a bit of confidence.
“They have a very hostile crowd down there as well who will want to see them finish their home season with a win.
“It is up to us to go there, upset the fans, play the way that we know we can and come back with a victory.
“We’ve played there before obviously, so it’s nothing new to us and we will be aiming to go there and pick up the three points.”
