And that is why he has no interest in considering a switch to Everton.
He said: “It’s just speculation. I don’t encourage that to be perfectly honest – certainly not when somebody is in a position. I’ve had that done myself when I’ve been supposedly been under pressure at other clubs, and I’ve heard other managers’ names bandied about.
“I didn’t appreciate it then, so I don’t want to be part of that, to be perfectly honest.”
