Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is reported to be lining up a £4million move for Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason.
Mason played a key role in the Tottenham squad that pushed Leicester City all the way for the Premier League title this season, but he now appears to be surplus to requirements.
The emergence of Dele Alli meant he slipped down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and Spurs could be willing to cash in if Palace match their valuation.
The two clubs appear to be someway apart regards the fee, with Palace valuing him at £4million, so plenty of work will need to be done if a deal is to happen.
Pardew will be armed with a large transfer kitty this summer but it looks as though he will have to push the boat out to have any chance of landing Mason.
