Tottenham remain keen to snare Georges-Kevin N’Koudou from French side Marseille during the summer transfer window.
Spurs thought they had landed the 21-year-old winger earlier in the summer after seeing a bid in the region of £11million accepted and reaching an agreement with N’Koudou himself.
However, Marseille’s new president Giovanni Ciccolunghi decided to put the deal on hold after his appointment in July, and there had been speculation Spurs had decided to move on to other targets.
Reports now indicate the White Hart Lane side are still keen to push on with the deal which will see Clinton N’Jie move on loan in the opposite direction.
N’Koudou has already passed a medical with Spurs but the Premier League club may have to renegotiate the deal with L’OM to secure the Frenchman before the transfer window closes.
