Tottenham are planning a move for Isco but reports in Spain indicate the forward intends to remain with Real Madrid.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino has suggested he is keen to add to his attack and Spurs have also been linked with Croatian starlet Ante Coric, who has now confirmed he intends to remain with Dinamo Zagreb.
Spurs have now been tipped to make a move for Spain international Isco but they could be facing disappointment in their pursuit of the 24-year-old.
Isco joined Real from Malaga in 2013 but has struggled to cement a starting place at the Bernabeu, although he does feature regularly as a substitute.
Spanish publication Marca claim Isco would prefer to stay at Los Blancos and fight for a place in the side rather than make a move to north London.
