Tottenham are understood to have opened talks with Lille over a deal to sign highly-rated winger Sofiane Boufal.
Spurs have been heavily linked with Marseille winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou during the summer window with some reports claiming a £10.8million deal was on the verge of being completed.
However, due to a sell-on fee with his former club Nantes it appears to have stalled and Spurs are ready to turn their attentions elsewhere.
Boufal, who is currently struggling with an injury, only joined Lille in January 2015 but was impressive last term as he scored 11 goals in 29 games.
The likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool were linked with Boufal last summer and it’s understood Spurs have now opened talks with the club that finished fifth in Ligue 1 in 2015-16.
Lille are hoping to bring in some serious money for the Moroccan after slapping a £25million price-tag on his head, which is considerably more than the north London club were planning to spend on N’Koudou.
