Deportivo La Coruna will reportedly rescue Carlos Sanchez from Aston Villa when the summer transfer window opens for business.
The 30-year-old Colombia international, who joined Villa from Spanish side Elche in summer 2014 for an undisclosed fee reported to be around £4.7million, has struggled for game time this term due to injury problems.
Villa are on course to plummet into the Championship as they sit eight points from safety with just 16 points picked up so far this season.
Reports claim Deportivo will hand the midfielder an escape route from playing in the second tier of English football by offering him a return to La Liga at the end of this campaign.
Sanchez has made 12 starts and featured three times from the bench so far this term.
