Southampton are reportedly open to taking Jack Wilshere on a season-long loan deal after Arsenal made him available.
The England international has found it tough to force his way back into the Gunners’ first team since making his return from a broken leg that kept him out for most of last season.
The 24-year-old has managed only 37 minutes of action for Arsenal this term and boss Arsene Wenger feels it would be best if Wilshere went out on loan, admitting he needs to play more often after two seasons on the sidelines though injury.
Several clubs have already registered their interest in taking Wilshere on loan, including Southampton, and Arsenal are open to send him to the south coast are they would prefer him to stay in England.
West Ham have also been mentioned as another possible option while Juventus, Valencia and Malaga are also believed to be ready to offer Wilshere some regular action.
