Al Ahly boss Martin Jol has told Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho to keep an eye on Stoke new-boy Ramadan Sobhi.
The 19-year-old secured a £5million switch to Stoke earlier this week after impressing in his homeland with Al Ahly.
Sobhi, who plays primarily as an attacking midfielder but can also work on the wing, netted 11 times in 55 appearances.
The Egypt international was playing under former Spurs boss Jol after his appointment at the club in February this year.
The Dutchman admitted he wanted to keep his playmaker but couldn’t persuade him to turn down the lure of the Premier League.
Jol revealed that he has already spoken to Red Devils boss Mourinho and feels that Sobhi could play a part for him at Old Trafford in the future.
“I sent a message to Jose Mourinho, who is in touch with me, asking him to keep an eye on Ramadan with Stoke City as he is a brilliant player and he can play at Manchester United after that,” Jol said.
