Snapped: Mourinho and Bailly joined by returning Shaw at Wigan for first Man United game

16 Jul

It’s Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge of United and he is fielding a fairly strong team against the newly-promoted Championship side.

Sam Johnstone is in goal behind a back four of Timothy Fosu-Mensah, debutant Eric Bailly, Daley Blind and Luke Shaw – who plays for the first time since his leg break.

Michael Carrick captains the side and is joined in midfield by Ander Herrera, behind an attacking trio of Jesse Lingard, new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Memphis Depay.

James Wilson is the lone striker.
