Snapped: Finishing touches made to West Ham’s Olympic Stadium ahead of opening match

Slaven Bilic’s team square up to Slovenian side Domzale in the second leg of their Europa League tie tomorrow night.

And construction workers were spotted putting the finishing touches to their new ground in Stratford yesterday.

The ‘West Ham United’ lettering was lifted into place on top of the stadium by cranes.

The east London side will need to overturn a 2-1 first leg defeat if they are to progress in the competition.
