SHOCK WEATHER WARNING: Tropical Storm Ian CHANGING course to BATTER Britain THIS weekend

14 Sep

Netweather forecaster Nick Finnis said: “Towards the end of the week, we face a two-pronged attack from a low pressure system moving northeast towards southern Britain while a frontal system moves in from the west.

“Although Thursday will be another mainly dry, sunny and very warm day, hot across the south and east, Friday will turn cooler and fresher with outbreaks of thundery rain in the east.

“It will turn increasingly unsettled over the weekend across the northern half of Britain, with wet and windy conditions arriving by Sunday.

“Southern areas will stay mostly dry, bright and breezy with temperatures back into the high teens or low twenties across the south, which is closer to average for the time of year.”
