Antonio Conte is already under pressure at Chelsea, claims a shock newspaper report.
The Italian coach, who quit the national team job to become Jose Mourinho’s permanent successor in the summer, has only taken charge of six games for the Blues.
He won his first four matches at the helm and his training methods have been publicly praised by a number of players.
But Chelsea have failed to get maximum points from their past two matches, drawing 2-2 at Swansea and losing 2-1 at home to Liverpool.
And, according to the Daily Star, club owner Roman Abramovich was furious with the team’s latest display against the Reds.
A report in the paper claims the Russia held emergency talks with senior executives until the early hours following Friday’s clash at Stamford Bridge.
Abramovich was said to have questioned some of Conte’s decisions during the match and whether the squad is good enough to challenge for major silverware this season.
