Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw admits he cannot wait to take on Manchester City after the international break next week.
The former Southampton star played his part in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Hull, with striker Marcus Rashford stepping off the bench to net the winner in stoppage time.
Shaw, who has made a solid start to the season, admits it was an incredible feeling when Rashford scored but he has already turned his attention to the next game.
The 21-year-old is expected to be named in Sam Allardyce’s first England squad on Sunday for the World Cup qualifier against Slovakia but Shaw already has one eye on the Derby clash with the Citizens.
He told the club’s official site: “We want to win every game and this game is over now.
“We’ve got to focus on the international break but obviously we have the big game against Manchester City when we come back.
“We know matches like that can help us win championships.”
