Sevilla striker Fernando Llorente is the latest player to be linked with a move to Crystal Palace as Alan Pardew looks to strengthen.
At least one new striker is on Pardew’s wanted list after the Eagles struggled to score last season, while the departures of Emmanuel Adebayor and Maraoune Chamakh have left him light on numbers.
The likes of West Brom striker Saido Berahino, Christian Benteke, Cedric Bakambu and Khouma Babacar are said to be on his wanted list, but now reports claim that Llorente is also a target and an enquiry has been made.
Llorente, who has been on the radar of Arsenal and Tottenham in the past, scored seven goals for Seville last season and Pardew also feels he will offer some physical presence in attack.
Palace will face competition for his services though, with newly promoted Middlesbrough also known to be keen.
