Sergio Aguero to fight FA’s violent conduct charge in bid to make Man United clash

The Manchester City striker was charged on Tuesday for allegedly elbowing West Ham’s Winston Reid on Sunday.

Aguero was given until 6pm yesterday to respond but that was extended because City officials were working on the exits of Samir Nasri, Joe Hart, Eliaquim Mangala and Wilfried Bony.

An independent panel will hear Aguero’s defence tomorrow.
