Newcastle are reported to be tracking highly-rated Serbian goalkeeper Filip Dmitrovic ahead of a potential summer move.
The Magpies are keen to bolster the goalkeeping department after both Tim Krul and Rob Elliot picked up serious knee injuries, and Dmitrovic has emerged as a potential target.
The 20-year-old currently plays his football with Austrian second division side SK Austria Klagenfurt and has been a regular for them when making 28 appearances this season.
The youngster has also represented Serbia at under-21 level and looks set to have a bright future in the game, something Newcastle are well aware of.
Newcastle already have a very talented young goalkeeper in the form of Freddie Woodman, but the Magpies still have an eye on the future and are considering taking Dmitrovic on board as well.
