Chelsea are reported to be showing an interest in Schalke left-back Sead Kolasinac, while Liverpool are also said to be keen.
The Bosnian international is said to have become frustrated with his lack of first-team football with the German side and will pursue a move away in the summer.
Left-back is an area that Chelsea need to strengthen in the summer and reports claim they have identified the versatile 22-year-old as a potential target.
As well as playing in defence, Kolasinac, who has made 18 appearances this season, can also operate as a defensive midfielder, making him an attractive proposition.
However Chelsea will face strong competition from Liverpool as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp knows the player well and has also signed his Schalke team-mate Joel Matip for next season.
